Saw a live video of them on Paladia and David Coverdale still has it at age 62. Are ya'll a fan or just kind of whatever?

30 year fan. Love'em, especially the early stuff: Lovehunter, Ready n Willing, and Saints and Sinners. Come an Get It was one of the best nasty rock and roll albums of the early 80's. A shame that they got lumped in with all those cheesy hair bands, but I guess they kinda bought in to it.

like'em. in his prime, coverdale had one of the best rock voices of all time. the guy has always been able to land top notch musicians--especially guitarist.
slide it in & self-titled ('87) are phenominal records. their last release, forevermore is pretty good.

Pretty much every thing before the 'Whitesnake' album is fricking awesome. Slide It In has been one of my all time favorite, straight ahead rock 'n roll albums since it came out. I've always thought they were one of the least appreciated great rock bands from the 70s/80s era.

I don't support the band, but when I hear their stuff at a bar I am into it. It's the bourbon talking, for sure.
