I just started getting these weekly boxes from this local butcher shop. They get all their stuff from local farmers, grass fed etc.

Anyway, this week including a 1lb lamb roast, and I'm not sure what to do with it. I don't have any experience with lamb except using ground lamb for a curry.

Find some rosemary and some garlic and some olive oil and some good salt and pepper. Make some slits all over the lamb roast and insert slivers of garlic in it.

Make a paste of rosemary, salt, pepper, and oil and rub it all over the roast. Put it in a 375 degree oven until cooked to desired temp.

They call it a CSA. You pay around 200 for 4 weeks, and they give you 5-6 different items from their shop. It's different every week.

Is this in the Baton Rouge area? I participate in a csa but it is a box of veggies every week. Would be interested in checking one out for meat.
