Help me with this nanny situation OT

I know you people always give the best advice, so help me out with this one.
We have a nanny that comes to our house from 10-4 during the week to watch our daughter. She also brings her daughter who is about the same age as ours to our house. It's been great so far. My daughter gets to stay at our house, and have a playmate for socialization.
Now we don't pay our nanny that much ($600/month) mostly because it was kind of a you help us, we help you kind of deal.
So now the nanny has asked if she can watch of her friend's kids this summer, a 4 year old girl, at our house. I know she doesn't make much money, and I don't fault her for looking for extra income, but I don't know if I want a 4 year old at my house with 2 other toddlers, especially a 4 year old that I do not know. But then again I know our nanny could use the extra money.
What would the OT do? I'm leaning to just giving it a shot to see if it works and if the 4 year old is some batshit crazy kid telling her no then, but then I don't want to put that parent in a bind with then trying to find a daycare last minute..?

Sounds like you are starting a daycare. I wouldn't do it.

You'll be liable if any injury happens and will be taken to the cleaners. Tons of liability here.
Stupid move.

my first reaction too, but our nanny is also a friend, so I do want to help her out...
It's a tough situation

sounds like the liabilities continue to grow. You don't know the parent. Are they gonna sue when their kid falls down or something? Who knows.

I wouldn't do it. If you knew the kid or the family, it would be different.

I'd meet the other kid/parents before I give an answer.

If that child gets hurt, you could be responible. Not to mention she would be running an illegal daycare at your house.

what defines daycare?

Not sure, just bringing up a "what if" situation.

No its not. Don't do it. Very simple. You have way too much to lose and nothing to gain.
Pay the nanny more to keep the current situation if you are worried about her increasing her income. The extra money you spend a month on the nanny is worth it to avoid an inevitable lawsuit. The fact that you are even considering this is all kinds of crazy.

This many posts and not a single "Pics of Nanny?" response? The OT is truly slipping.
Seriously, this sounds like a bad idea. I wouldn't do it. As others have mentioned, this just sounds like additional liability for you that is almost beyond your control 6 hrs a day.

yeah the liability stuff is concerning...I would definitely want to meet the parents if I did agree with this, and I would hope that the parents would want to see our house as well
