... Heard Weyerhaeuser (one of the main lessors of timberland in north Louisiana) has made a decision to ban dog hunting for deer on allof its leased property starting in the 2015-2016 season. Anyone know of any specifics on this?

I hope they are prepared for a scorched earth policy by the dog runners. I know a bunch who will be highly pissed off.

If that does happen, it won't take too many arsonists to create a real problem, since the Office of Forestry has only a token staff of firefighters left scattered across the state.

I don't believe Weyerhaeuser burns anymore since they moved to a 17yr growth cycle
