Turn notifications off. But if a few notifications bothered you that much you wouldn't enjoy the game

There's a lot of notifications at the beginning as you get started since the build and research times aren't very long. The more you play the longer the build and research times, notifications become less and less.
So best bet would be to turn off notifications at the beginning and then turn them back on after about 4-6 months of playing.

I was trying to join the farming clan for Mardi Gras, but think I was rejected. My username there is Tiger. I will try again in the afternoon.
I just don't want to have to keep leaving my clan and rejoining, so I don't end up in war, when I don't have time to put together good attacks. I freely donate.

There are just a few spots left in "Tigerdroppings" and "TD War" for the guys in TD2 looking for a home. Both clans war 2/3 times a week with TDW being a more serious warring clan. Make sure to put "TD" in your request.
