A group of buddies and I are heading out there this weekend. I haven't fished there since October, and any we absolutely slaughtered reds - my significant other and I caught 40 over three days!

It has been quite a while since I've fished there in the spring, so I'm looking for any tips. The weather should be mostly cloudy with 10-15 kt SE winds for the weekend. Tides are falling from late morning to the end of the day, but only .2-.4 feet per day, so they basically suck. The conditions have lowered my expectations tremendously, but on the bright side, the gnats shouldn't be an issue with the wind.

TIA for any tips for reds or specks. We will be fishing inshore in flats boats.

My framer just got back last week. He said the trout hadn't moved in yet and it wasn't worth a shite. He goes pretty frequently too. Hopefully your trip will be better. Good luck

watch out for all the kayaks. BCKFC is holding their annual spring tournament at Bobby Lynn's on Saturday and so far there are over 200 kayakers signed up.
