Damn that's badass. Would like one in a tan color. That's almost a burn orange color.

Looks pretty wicked, not $3600 wicked, but pretty nice nonetheless.

That rifle in 308 holding 30 rounds would be badass.

The new design knocks a whole bunch of weight off the gun, increases the cooling capability, and makes it more accurate. They say that it’s 1 MoA all the way to 1,000 yards, but we’ll need to test that out for ourselves.

Why in the blue f*ck do people think they have to put a telescoping stock on every new product out there?
That stock ruins it.

Looks like they are using an AR buffer tube. I think it's smart to give the user variety in choosing a stock.
But I think a rifle-type buffer tube would make more sense on a rifle this big.

It's that damn tan that turns me off. And part of the reason I liked the way the old BAR looked was the classy wood furniture.

Who here has shot one of these?
Can you fire from the hip?

Oh man i think i just got a little wood
Too bad $3600 is just a bit too steep. Makes the $1800 for a M1A look cheap.

I've never fired one but I know they weigh about 16 pounds.
I just cannot even fathom 16-18 year old American soldiers in WW2 lugging these monstrosities around. Makes our M16-carrying soldiers look like a bunch of pansies.

If it was any lighter you wouldn't be able to shoot the damn thing.
One .30-06 round hurts, so lets shoot them at 500 rounds a minute
Posted on 4/9/14 at 9:31 pm to DownshiftAndFloorIt
20 rounds at 500 a minute. You're still correct but let's not pretend they shot them for a full minute.

Hell I pulled that number outta my arse
I could shoot it for a full minute. Your average man could only handle a 4 or 5 round burst
