If based on the fourth book, they will seem to take long.

One of the few times crashing the server is seen as a good thing.

It shouldn't when your Season 4 premiere breaks the internet.

I said this in the other thread, but hasn't HBO already said last year that GoT can go on as long as it needs to and as long as there is story left to tell?

Said the same thing about True Blood IIRC.

So is this really "news"?

(not hating on you, Gugs...just saying in general)

I'm sure they will combine 4 and 5, excising large portions of 4.

I've seen that too, although saying that and actually committing to specific seasons are 2 different things.

I figured it would be longer due to the whole 2 season book thing (i though they were stalling to give him time to finish)

Maybe 7 or 8 more seasons, they already aren't on track for that.

If they cancelled the show how high would the book sales get? The books are just as addictive as the show, I knocked them all out in a 3 month span.

I can see A feast for crows and a dance with dragons being one season each.

I think they should be, but I think HBO has to try and give him time.

So does that mean the storylines start getting squeezed to lessen seasons? Better not!
