then again he probably wont since the deputy the showed up to the wreck wasn't certified to give a sobriety test. I wonder how this plays out had this been a normal citizen and not another leo. I bet he would have had those certifications or called for someone that did.

Yeah, that'll never hold up in court, they are just saying that now to try to cover their arse. No field sobriety, no breathalyzer, no refusal from the driver, etc. Yeah, he won't be convicted of anything.....

No freaking doubt they would have. You or I would have definitely found our name in the newspaper the next day.

They just wanted to get out ahead of the media hate. Soon they will sweep it away because of the incompetence and all parties will move on without any punishment. Hell the deputy might even get a promotion due to standing up for the thin blue line of corruption.
