Good to hear. The numbers mean that LSU has to have some attrition on their roster (at minimum one more guy. Hopefully not Mickey), so there was a bit of a question as to if Hickey was/is returning. If Mickey comes back LSU should be able to athletically compete with any team in the SEC, including UK and UF. It's just a matter of if Jones can get them to play ANY defense

Why on earth would Hickey transfer? He's a really valuable player on this team, and will see a lot of minutes. Good to see him staying

Hickey leaving was never a question of PT or value to the team. I'm not sure if the conversation is warranted or not, but it is true that Jones has suspended him multiple times. We know that Hickey was asked to step back offensively and dish the ball a llot more this past year.
I thought Hickey may look at other places to be "the man" but I'm very happy to see him stay. The suspensions have given Hickey a name that he doesn't deserve. He is always out giving back to the community and is a really good guy who wants to help others out.
Like I said, LSU will be much better with him and Im happy to hear he isn't a transfer prospect.

Quarterman might push those minutes.. Big guard and fits the passing scenario for jones.

Oh man, that was ssooo fricking retarded of me to think he might have made a typo to a legitimate NBA prospect on our roster. Forgive me for not seeing any speculation of Hickey leaving.
