Pocket carrying a p238

Every pair of jeans I own, about a 1/2" of the butt/hammer stick out of my back pocket. If I tuck in my shirt, then it is obvious to see the firearm if you look at my arse (I have a nice arse so it happens often).
Does anyone else have this problem when pocket carrying? The very last thing I want to do is cause a stir because someone see a gun in my pocket.

Why pocket carry -- there are holster types that are better from a tactical and SD perspective.
Have you ever used a timer to see how fast (or how slow) you are at drawing from your rear jeans pocket while seated (like driving, eating a meal, etc.)?
Hopefully it's your BUG, but if it's your primary piece, seven rounds of .380 is pretty mimimal -- I'd at least want to be sure I could present the weapon pretty quickly.

You suggesting hip carry? How would I do that with a tucked in shirt?
I'm not very knowledgeable on the various ways of carrying

That is not a good gun to pocket Barry IMO being single action on that first shot
Eta pocket CARRY. Not Obama
Eta2 I don't like the idea of pocket carrying anything honestly
Get a holster

You do realize TTT is a fella of color, correct? I know you like your men younger, but didn't realize you were into the BBC.
I couldn't resist.

Jesus guys. Give the man some real advice.
Every defense scenario isn't exactly the same where you have to draw in .00000001 seconds. Granted, it is better to have an easily-accessible gun that you can draw quickly, sometimes your attire prevents you from doing so.
Tots, wait for KR to chime in. He pocket carries his P238 sometimes when he isn't carrying his cannon (Colt DE).

KR carries behind his wallet, either he wears bigger pants or he has one of those huge arse wallets that extend outside of the pocket.
TTT, can you switch to a front pocket on days you have your shirt tucked in?
