No More Colored PMAGs
We have been notified that Magpul has discontinued all colored PMAGs and will only manufacture magazines in black. Gen2 black will continue to be manufactured. We have no guidance on whether this is permanent, but we do know that the current inventory of FDE, OD, and FOL PMAGs are all that remain.

PMAG MOE 30-round FDE $9.97 each 72,000 in stock
PMAG MOE 30-round OD $9.97 each 58,000 in stock
PMAG MOE 30-round FOL $9.97 each 46,000 in stock
BLK 55,000 in stock as as of 1:39 pm 4/7/2014 at Hartatac.. I found NONE at LanWorld and only a couple hundred of each color at Gunmagwarehouse
There are already guys dyeing these mags With photodipping being so popular among other methods.. colored mags are becoming mute.

What's the difference in the Gen 2 versus the Gen 3? I figure this may not necessarily be bad news since they'll keep making colored Gen 3 mags.

Why would anyone buy a colored magazine? This is one of the many things that make people dislike the yuppies that buy ARs.

Gen 3 is supposed to be stronger.
Gen 3 doesn't come w dust covers. They must be bought separately..

That's 1st generation gen 2 pmags, the later ones stopping being produced with dust covers. Gen3 have dust covers.

I think the easy and very obvious answer is that they like them? Will never understand why anyone gives 2 shits how some complete stranger spends their money.

The dust cover fits over the top of the mag and is designed to keep dust/debris out when in storage and not being used. I believe that they also push the rounds down a bit to relieve the pressure on the lips of the mag. I typically keep my loaded mags in the safe with the dust

I think it's a link to an item to accessorize a gun that people could spend money on that is completely useless. In other words people spending their money on stupid shite but it's their money they can spend it however.

All mine are black also I don't have a need for olive drab, dark earth, or foliage green.

Now if I had mag pull furniture in this color I could see buying some or if you are hoarding for the next panic ( TTT check-in).

I kied.

FWIW: Ritter dye does wonders for colors or hydro dipping.
