My uncle is going to trade in his 2002 Bayliner 212 Cuddy Cabin towards an new boat but I might can convince him to let me purchase it from him instead. Anyone dealt with Bayliner's before? Steer me away if they are no good.

You can't buy a boat if you keep going to the casino..

It seems like people are on opposite ends of the spectrum about them. Hard to follow. No middle ground reviews.

I've heard mostly bad. Check out boat forums like the hull truth, etc.

Bayliner is a disposable boat.

My perception is that they are nice looking and feeling boats, but not neccesarily the most well-constructed.

If it was 2 years old and you getting it for a steal? Sure.

12 years old? Naaa. Let someone else deal with it. Cant imgine he's going to get much from a dealer either.
