Im a big fan of Culper Ring, spy stuff and the American Revolution so I was pretty pumped about this. It seems great so far.
Taking a few liberties with story telling and introducing some amalgamated characters but that has to happen or it will be like watching a history book.

I understand the Colonial army wants him to be a spy, but whose side was he on before? Neutral?

I have a feeling AMC will go through a series of strikeouts in their initial post-Breaking Bad/Mad Men era. All the networks go through this before rebounding. FX avoided it though after The Shield ended.
Even HBO missed a lot after The Sopranos/The Wire ended around 2007 and 2008.

I agree. I hope it doesn't take long for the rebound though. AMC has been consistently great for the better part of a decade.

yuuup. very realistic scenarios as well. not sure of the historical accuracy but i have high hopes for this one. mostly because this is the only new series that will fit my schedule.
