I'm not in last for now though, so it is a good month. I hope my knee feels better so I can run later today.

Do people still think it's a good idea to workout by just running alot of long distances?

I won't hit 100. I usually run 3 times a week. I run for a few minutes, then walk one minute. I do that for about 30 minutes each time.

I kinda figured there would be sloughing off. March was brutal.

I hit 100 most every month. Living on the LSU Lakes doesn't hurt. 22 miles so far this month

If I lived on the Lsu lakes I'd probably have the biggest beer gut from sitting in my yard drinking while I watched the scenery run by.

I run twice a day right now, 2 miles before a work out where I try to beat my previous pace and then in afternoon when I get home where I do interval run/jog/walk for 45 minutes

I got to gym in morning, do my 2 mile run then work out with weights 5 days a week and 1 day I dedicate to nothing but body weight exercises

I see you're still hitting the gym pretty hard. I have slacked off of weights tremendously since 100 mile March. It's hard to get in the gym right now with all these runs.

That's why I run once at the gym and then another time around my neighborhood, lucky the weather has been great.

Although today was a leg day and I half assed it because my legs felt like jello

basically just a challenge to reach 100 miles, in March their was a gift card prize for the first one to accomplish this. This month is about pride and just a way to motivate people to run more as well.

We're basically shitting in the face of the thread that said people who run more die earlier. I feel like I'll need bilateral knee replacements but I don't feel like I'll die earlier. So... Score!

Nah, I don't believe that study

Plus what is more? Someone who runs 50 miles a week? How long? I mean I just started running over a year ago so I have a lot to catch up on
