I really do think he's a little over the hill. But I'm hoping with our pass rush and strong safety play he can be a solid #2 cover guy.

Got a feeling we are gonna use him all over the field. Book end CB when we are in our base D, slot CB in nickel where we can blitz him and put him on the ball, and some at S when KV bumps down as well.
And they made a great point on the radio talking about the signing. Even if Champ is getting up there in age, a 90% Champ Bailey is still a damn good CB. And is a great defensive playmaker. You could make the argument that in modern day football, hes been the 2nd best CB behind Deion Sanders. Champs great.

Have they even announced what he's making? All I've seen is what the max value is (which probably requires a very impressive performance). He may very well be making under $2m/yr.
