What kind of playing time do you guys see him getting? How do you expect him to perform tomorrow?

Minimal playing time. Needs to get in better shape from everything I've read, but will be a contributor on this team before his 5 years are up.

I think it could be a Michael Brockers situation...he will play some this year as a RS Fresh, but next year is when he really makes an impact.

5th DT behind bain, lacouture, gilmore and thomas but he'll play.

Also could see him at DE some too since allen bolted

He's a backup DT so he won't have much impact unless the light comes on at some point and he grabs a starting spot.

That sucks. Following recruiting he was suppose to be a stud from the get go

This dude is going to break out in a few years.

One more year of reps, growth, strength & conditioning, maturing, learning and he's gonna get into the rotation and start wrecking shite - mark my words

he was a high 5 star on rivals and supposed to be a big time can't miss player. Thought he would be making a bigger impact. Would be interesting to watch him during the spring game. Has he just not put on the size needed to make the switch from DE to DT yet. He was kind of small for a DT when he got here. Listed at 275 lbs. on the Dandy Don roster. Wonder what his true weight is right now.

I thought he was still listed as DE.

Bio has him as a DE, but spring game roster PDF has him at DT. All bios haven't been updated.

I like to cut D Linemen a little slack in this type of situation. Yeah, he looks stagnant but he really isn't. It's damn hard to get into Chavis' rotation on the DL mainly because the Chief expects them to penetrate and disrupt while not letting the RB get past you AND not getting pushed back by the OL. That's difficult stuff and he's competing against some very nasty players. Herron will get plenty of reps toe coaches that he is either ready or not this season.

Shoot, he might be a godsend since he is playing both inside and at the end positions. If the DL gets thin over the next few seasons then he can step in anywhere with only a minor drop off I presume.I guess that's the bright side.

He was DE size coming out and packed on some weight (probably not all good) for DT. Should get into the rotation next year after getting in the right shape and up to weight.
