How did I just find out that Bill Clinton is a vegan?

I remember it, he switched his diet after his heart problems. Apparently jogging to get mcds is not a heart healthy choice.
and he isn't really vegan. he just gave up meat and dairy. I believe he still eats fish.

For Bill, I believe it was a lifestyle choice after his heart nearly failed him a few years back (that's also why he doesn't look as robust as he used to).
I dated a vegan for a few weeks as a freshman in college. Hot, fit, with lots of "energy", but she was weird as frick. For most of them, it's more a political/moral statement than a lifestyle/health choice. I actually just stopped asking girls if they were vegetarians or vegans on first dates about three years ago. That Kate must have had a profound effect.

His affair with heart problems a few years ago from Mickeys menu did the trick, but he announced his belief in ET's just the other night on the tube. What are the chances of cause and effect being the case?

This. You can get fat on lettuce.
There was a prof a few years ago who lost weight by eating only junk food from a gas station. All he did was watch his caloric intake.
