Wife has the bug for one and I never pass up the chance to buy a boat so I'm interested. Dad has a tritoon with a 115 that is set up to fish with trolling motor and live wells. Live wells aren't a must but trolling motor is for night fishing occasional bream. I don't want a tri, just a regular with two. Mainly used to take the kids out and play. Would like something that will pull tubes or whatever good, no desire for bigger than a 150 though. Something decent that won't break the bank. Any advice is appreciated.

couple web sites out there with a shite load of them to sell, in other states. 4-stroke is the way to go now. something garage/carport kept is key. owner probably babied it. they have come a long way in construction the last 4-5 years. lift rakes on the pontoons, aluminum decking.

My cousin has a G3 fish and cruise or something like that with a 115 Yammy 4 stroke. You can pull tubes behind it. He has a trolling motor in the front and uses it to fish inshore all the time.

Yeah I think aluminum decking is a must now. As much as I would love a 150, think don't think that big is needed and will just add to repair cost down the road. Will be a 4 stroke for sure. Nice to cruise around and be able to hear the radio and talk.

Buddy of mine just went from a 50 to a 90(I think that's right). Not run it yet. And yeah, that's one app where I would have a 4. So quiet. You don't need/want more than 90 I don't think.

We fish those open water spots for bream at Kincaid all summer in it. Mostly I just drink though.

I will bring the beer.

115 should be plenty for what you are going for, the 150 really wont run that much faster and will cost a good bit more. I will keep an eye out for ya.

We used one of my cousins last year and it was fine for pulling the kids now but need a little more that what it was capable of. I will see what it was and prob just go up a little from there.

I know where two are that are just sitting on some rocks waiting for the river to rise. I am betting the owner would sell cheap. heck, he might even give one away just to have it gone. Those things are just a platform for accessories anyway. Strip all the couches and buy new.

Wife will not be happy when I pull it home but may be worth a look see. I may run by Cheeks to check out the G3's after work. Need to see what I want then start shopping price.

I need an old piece of shite party barge. Does not have to have a running motor or a motor at all really. Can be ugly and nasty. Just structurally sound and buoyant. Anybody has one or knows where one is please advise. Tia
