Anybody know where I can rent a lift gate truck? I need to move a large heavy object.

Someone gave me a safe for free.

A big heavy one? Normally the doors can be removed, this makes them much lighter...

There is no removing mines door. And it weighs 1300 pounds

I would pay a safe mover...

They want 1/3 of what I paid for the thing.

Maybe contact a moving compay about renting some equipment. 2 of us moved a 56 gun safe with a tommy lift and a contraption known as a pool table dolly. Luckily, my buddy works for a gaming company so he had access to all the stuff.

Here is another picture of one...
You can get that on a trailer.

I think homedepot has one to rent.

The reason to get the lift gate truck is so I don't have to get it up a ramp to the truck/trailer.
I only have a 3" step into my house so I'm not worried about that.

You can also use golf balls and pipe to roll it...

A truck with a forklift hanging on the back might do the trick.

Enterprise has them. You should have a commercial rental branch near where you live.
