I have been to one in Lafayette and just a few weeks ago in Monroe. Displayed are the Live Auction items but you will get a chance to win a lot of other prizes if you buy raffle tix. There is also a silent auction.
In Monroe, I won a whole table full of stuff. Two Okuma 7' rods and Trio spinning rigs and a 48 qt ice chest full of salt water lures, a tackle box and a 5 gal. CCA bucket. Checked retail and I had about $800 worth of stuff. Bought $100 worth of raffle tix.
Had a great time with friends and a good meal.
ETA: I have about $255 worth of large salt water hard baits and a lot of Bomber soft lures, mostly 7" shads of different colors.
I'd take $125 if anyone is interested.
I'm keeping all the speck and reds stuff.
