Futurama would be fantastically bad.

Archer could actually be decent if it was done with the right tone.

Archer with out Jon Benjamin's voice could not be Archer and he himself could never play Archer in a live action role

Well, I've already seen mine and it was the absolute worst case scenario that it could have become.

Oh god. I blocked that molestation out of my mind.

I'd like HBO to get it and do a season per storyline

Avatar. It almost makes Dragonball look like Citizen Kane in comparison. At least I can see what they're thinking with that one, but they changed the names and very nature of the universe to the point of tardation that it makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

Please explain it to me because I've been trying to figure it out. And this statement :

they changed the names and very nature of the universe to the point of tardation that it makes me want to gouge my eyes out.

Works for dbz other than the names part

I'd say a live action Simpsons would not meet expectations...

Yeah, I get you, but it's not to the same level as they did with Avatar. I don't think the film makers if DB were ever really condescending to the source material. They saw it as a wacky anime and that they'd have fun with it. The project shite the bed, but there wasn't anything particularly malicious about it.

Shyamalan saw the Avatar as a masterpiece universe and sought to steal it from its creators. He changed the very fabric of the universe, and flies right in the face of the logic of the universe. For instance in the series they imprison Earthbenders on oil rigs and make them do labor there; in the movie they imprison them in a god damn rock quarry, which would be like putting standard prisoners in an ammunitions factory. Shyamalan accused the creators of the show of ripping off other works, and that he was above that. Watching behind the scenes, its clear that everyone on set was just laughing about how good this movie was going to be and how they were going to show those "kid's show" creators how it was done. I think it speaks volumes that none of the people involved with the source material were there for the premiere says a lot. I hear that when the people involved in the original series came on set, it just about came to a fist fight with Shyamalan. It was obvious from the start that this was a rape, and thankfully there's been a sequel series that has revived the series name.

I'm not saying Avatar wasn't bad. And it seems you're a bigger fan of it than db or dbz. Or maybe you've never seen the original db or dbz episodes in Japanese.

But

It's not a wacky anime and frick them for trying to just have fun with it.

I'm not going to concede this this argument because that Dragonball movie was complete and total horrendous dog shite.

But I'll happily agree that they are tied for all time worst.
