Any of y'all had this one yet? Thoughts?
I just picked up some from the store, since it's a couple dollars cheaper than Jack at Albertson's.

ignore the stupid comments. you could do worse but for a few dollars more there is better.

What is it, the "precious essence" from the barrels or something?
Sounds like the JB marketing guys are nearing idea depletion.

It's not bad for the price. But for that price, I'd get Weller reserve instead

Id prefer Beam Black which costs less.

I tried it and it's pretty good for Beam but like others have said you are probably better off spending the money on another brand.
I usually drink Jack but like to mix it up every now and then.

this. I prefer jim beam black to devils cut but neither is that great.
generally with liquor, if you buy a brand that you haven't heard of you are going to get better value/$$ combo.
50% of the cost of a liquor is for marketing.
