Gretna Speed Camera photo ticket? Anyone had one?

So one of my company registered cars was apparently clocked at 10 over on the Westbank Expressway in Gretna. This comes to me via a photo ticket and they have obscured the portion of the photo that would show the driver. I don't know who was driving that vehicle that day as it is a pool vehicle.
Has anyone had one of these photo tickets?
The payment address is in Cleveland, OH.
What say the OT? Unlike the regular $10 parking ticket threads, this one is $140.
There is lots of language on the form that says I am responsible as the owner of the vehicle regardless of who was driving. ????

I got flashed with one coming down Gretna Blvd to Manhattan two or three years ago. Going like 6 over.
Some nonsense. I shoulda been flying then. If I'm gonna get flashed, I wanna have earned it rightly.
6 over is being too heavy footed getting back up to speed after a car just turned off in front of you.

Especially when the speed limit on that road that is basically a fricking thruway, is 25 mph.
frick Gretna.

You're fricked. Just pay it. I've gotten at least 3 on Lafayette.

throw it away there is no recourse for non payment. It can't even go on your credit report.

The violation is a civil violation, which basically means they're fining you as the owner of the vehicle for allowing an individual to operate the vehicle in such a fashion.
They give you an option to provide a name of a person who was driving in the event that the person will admit that he/she was driving to pay your fine, but you're ultimately responsible if they don't admit.
The only time "it wasn't me" works is if you can show there wasn't express or implied consent, meaning if the vehicle was stolen/being operated without your permission.

So the obvious question is this.
If they make it civil to alleviate them having to prove it was me driving. Which they would have to do in a criminal setting.
Then what are their options for enforcement?
I don't live there. Am rarely, if ever, on the WestBank and don't have property or business interests in that Parish.

They're not saying they don't have to prove it was you. That letter is merely notifying you of the alleged violation, then offering an admission and a chance to pay the fine.
You can attend that hearing and contest it, but it's an administrative hearing with no judge (a hearing officer instead) and no rules of evidence, so they basically just play the video, look at the vehicle registration, and assess the fine. In other words, if you don't have an item number from a police report showing that you reported the car stolen before the ticket, it's yours to eat.
As far as enforcement, you'll end up on their tow list after the fine hits a certain amount in late fees.

Can the City of Grenta tow or disable (boot?) your vehicle from anywhere other than when actually parked on the street in Gretna?

In NOLA they boot you. Sucks.

Right. I understand that. And the City of New Orleans is a place I park on the street not infrequently.
But, Gretna? I don't know if I ever have to park on the street there, so what else can they do to me besides maybe catch me the one time in 2 years I do so?

It's usually set up on the lower by Lafayette street

Yep. On the Service Road or Lower or whatever it is called over there. Just watched video online and can't see diddly. They blurred out the windshield view in the still (no clue why) so I can't tell who the hell was driving.
Sending the "It wasn't me" letter back with a "send me an unaltered picture" note.

They have been there for at the least 5 years. It isn't there every day, but on and off for the last few years.

I would throw it away. Especially since you don't live in Gretna.
I don't know the statutes in LA but they are likely similar to AZ. 90 or 120 days to serve you. If you are not served it disappears.
On the remote chance you are served you can then choose to pay or fight it.

i have not paid 2 of the grentna tickets with no adverse consequences. I received a few of the love letters from the Cleveland attorney but i don't think there is much they can do to me.

I got the fuzzy plate cover and it hasn't happened again.
