Can we all agree that if Cadet becomes Shane Vereen-ish we'll all be happy?

Sproles is leaving some mighty big small shoes to fill.

And Ivory and Robinson earned time early so there's that.

yea in different roles----> as every down backs. Mark Ingram also gets carries, that he really hasnt earned outside of being an entitled 1st round draft pick.

You are such a little girl. You can't help building strawmen when someone rejects your comparisons.

If you really think Graham taking snaps behind Shockey during his rookie year is analogous to Cadet being buried in the depth chart behind Sproles and every other running back on the team, then I don't know what to tell you.

Jimmy Graham is an athletic freak who came into the league with little experience, and now is at the top of his position. Cadet is a marginal athlete from a small school who managed to win the 5th running back spot for 2 years because of special teams. He MIGHT contribute this year. He also might not make the team. You like try to draw these stupid parallels to back up your hard on for Cadet, but it's really flimsy.

I think you can expect (Travaris) Cadet to take on a little more of that role

I don't think "take on a little more" can be extrapolated to him being a new Darren Sproles. He's a young, cheap, body in the building that is the next man up. How much or how far he goes in that role is to be seen. The draft and UDFAs will say a lot about the team outlook on this.

It's 100% comparable.

You just can't separate what Graham is now to what Cadet is at the current moment.

But as young players, they were both blocked by productive veterans ahead of them.

Jimmy Graham current status as an All Pro has no bearing on what I am saying. If anything, it further proves my point, that even a future All Pro can be locked in a numbers game when it involves a veteran ahead of him.

I can because they are nowhere near the same type of athlete. Graham's ceiling > Cadet ceiling.

I love when you say this, and it's never true.

Jimmy was literally learning how to play football. Cadet knew how to play, but everyone else was a better football player.
