But they still have a lot of work to do. Good season to build on to take it to the next level.

I thought they played a really good game. SMU is one hell of a team, especially at home. I feel like LSU did a lot of what they needed to do to win, but SMU hit like 70% of their three's and just played well.

They are a great team.

SMU shot lights out in the 2nd half while we couldnt buy a bucket. Overall i still feel like we underachieved. Just hope we continue to get better each year

They shot lights out because LSU played terrible defense, and was out of position most of the second half because of 0 coaching.

It really was a good effort. SMU lost one home game all year. It was to #1 seed virginia. This was a good team. We heading in the right direction

Speck head I have to disagree with you. The reason we were out of position is we had to gamble on defense. If they don't hit those shots this game is still going on right now. Kudos to SMU they played very well tonight

That's what happens when a good team plays a team that doesn't play defense. The problem LSU has going forward is that it doesn't take that much talent to play defense. It takes desire. Something the coaches still haven't been able to instill in the team. I still consider the season to be a success, just have to somehow figure out the desire to play D.

Talent to play defense, the first shot blocker to go over 100 block shots. This team had way enough talent to make the real dance, there under achieved because of terrible Coaching. Call me what you want, they had the worst spacing on offense I have ever seen. And ran 2 plays all year that where easily defended.
