Camera repair in Lafayette

I googled it and found a place called Camtec off of Ambassador. Anyone have experience with them? I need to see if I can get my Canon VIXIA repaired.

I used them years ago and they fixed my camera. I can't believe they're still in business, though.

The owner is a freak/weirdo and will rape you with prices. I wish I had a better suggestion for you but I would stay away from Camtec.

Yes they are weirdos and the building/office is a strange mess. But he didn't rip me off. Did what he said he'd do in the time he said he would do it and his price was fair.

I only got a quote so I can't comment on his work. His quote was way high.
