I have a couple days this week in Lafayette and need some options. Might have a burger at Max's because I know him but I'm open.

T-Coon's has excellent food.
Not a fancy place, more of lunch counter/cafeteria style, but delicious food.

Yes, Johnsons, Antler's downtown, Café Vermillionville, Don's, Jolie's

You can always go to Zea's and watch Count get shunned by ladies in tennis skirts.

Or you could also try some of our food trucks. They're always out during lunch time!

Old Tyme Grocery has a great shrimp poboy, the best in town if you want that. Jolie's Bistro for a nice lunch.

Degas nailed it, but don't miss Johnson's for a BBQ plate and boudin link.
