Me and my friend were talking about it. I think it can be if u have it like everyday for a while. Something I like to get is just and ice coffee with vanilla and cream! It doesn't have many calories in general so its much healthier then say a white mocha

Think snowballs plus fat and caffeine.

Well when your coffee is 400-500 calories it's probably not good.

What kind of question is this?

It can be very bad or not bad at all, depending on your choices.
95% of the time I get a small dark roast. My friend always gets a grande frappy. shite load of sugar, so not good.

I'm a big fan of the dark roast at SB. I usually brew my own stuff, but when I do stop at a store, I like SB much better than the other shitty local chains.

Depends what you get, obviously. There's a difference between a coffee and caramel Frappucino. Also, they have a bunch of white chocolate options - those are terrible for you.

Obviously. Most people who are going through there every day are buying the full flavored, loaded down with cream/sugar/etc options though. Their Pumpkin Spice Latte is something like 350-400 calories with 2% milk and whipped cream. The White Chocolate Mocha is almost 500.

Their "skinny" options are under 200 for the most part. I'm not a fan of their sugar-free syrup though so if I go I try to cut corners in other ways. I'll occasionally get Cinnamon Dolce Latte but knock out the whipped cream, decaf, and roll with nonfat milk. If I'm going with just regular coffee I'm better off just brewing it at work.

There are a lot of fat women that come to my Starbucks and order what is basically ice cream and chocolate with one shot of coffee. It's a huge amount of calories...but they justify it because it's just 'coffee.'

Kind of like ordering a Bloomin' Onion at Outbacks. "Hey, it's a vegetable."

You would have to be a special kind of stupid to use that kind of logic, but I'm sure there are some out there like that.

Hey, I worked with women who had a fattening lunch at break time and as a drink had a can of one of those diet meal replacements.

They were also big on eating cookies while drinking diet coke. They thought it all canceled out.

Almost no one gets a plain coffee that enters the doors. A true cup of coffee is not bad, but all of the other fru-fru stuff will not be good to drink daily.

I think most that enter the doors get a standard, not-unhealthy drink. Drive thru is completely a different story.

Do you enjoy it? The it's bad for you.

Aside from that Starbucks is shite anyway. Community is far better. I just wish we had CC's in my area.

I grew up on Community Coffee...starting at age 6. Made N.O. Blend at home until age 50. Then discovered Starbucks Espresso. It is waaaay superior.

But if you don't like SB that's OK. Cause it's a free world. For now.

Don't know how much of this is true, but it did make me rethink about some of Starbuck's stuff.
