Has anyone ever put a "power handle" on a REVO S, SX, STX, etc...? I'm going to be using my Revo SX paired with a stout rod for some mangrove fishing next weekend and am concerned about generating torque with the standard handle that comes on it. As such, I'm looking into replacing the handle (temporarily) with a power handle like the one sold on the REVO Toro NaCl 50 and 60's as seen below:

Has anyone ever done this? Or more in general, does anyone use Revos or other high drag rating low-profile reels offshore?

Thanks for the responses.

One handle on the reel won't generate any more torque than another. At least not on that type of reel.

The reel just takes the line, the rod generates the power. Pull, reel down and repeat.

Never seent it, but it looks like overkill. I will also hopefully be chasing mangroves next week weather permitting.

Yeah I understand the physics of it. The handle that comes on the reel has a short radius. The power handle has a longer radius. I understand the reel itself wont be generating more torque, but if I had the drag locked down, I will be able to more easily turn the spool with a longer arm on my handle.

I would be less concerned about the handle on the reel and more concerned about what rod you're using. Is the revo on a typical inshore rod? You're going to have a tough time turning a mangrove if so.

Nah. It's on a 7'9" heavy/fast 15-40# rod designed for nearshore/offshore fishing. The rod won't be a problem. I've got that covered.

Yup and gorillacoco. Hope the weather works out and the fish are hungry. Haven't been offshore in 4 years so I'm dying to go.
