Where would you take a 16 yr. old visiting New Orleans

This summer we are hosting a kid from smallish-town Kentucky. My kid's karate school is flying him in to do a seminar, and he's spending a week at my house. This kid is a rock star in the martial arts world. His sponsors fly him all over the world to compete and do seminars, and he has been featured on ESPN several times. I think most of his travels tend to be all business - he flies in, competes, then flies on to the next gig. This will be his first time in New Orleans. I want him to have a good time, but also want him to experience the culture of New Orleans - something that he will look back on a few years down the road and be glad that he got a chance to experience. We'll have probably around 3 days of time to fill. Of course I've asked my kid (14) what he would want to do, but since he's lived here all of his life he takes certain aspects of New Orleans living for granted. Here are my initial thoughts:
- Take him on a Honey Island Swamp tour (one is about 30 seconds from my house)
- Take him to the N.O. Aquarium, the Quarter, eat Galatoire's, then grab some beignets at Cafe Du Monde
- Take him karting at NOLA Motorsports Park so he can have some actual fun
Any other suggestions?

He's not local, no I don't think he can go.

If I was from BFE Kentucky I would be thrilled to take a boat ride in the marsh and maybe catch a redfish. The swamp tour is great but you could add a marsh tour in an airboat and I'm sure he wouldn't soon forget it.

City Park (there's also a putt putt course there now)
po'boys at Parkway
Camilia Grill for freezes
Go to the Zoo and then throw frisbees at The Fly
If he's there not this weekend but the following one, take him to Hogs For the Cause in City Park.
You can take him to see the Chalmette Battlefield where the Battle of New Orleans was fought. Rock N Bowl could be a lot of fun for a kid
WWII Museum
Pelicans Game
Zephyrs Game
eat at Bud's Broiler
sneak him into a Jazz Club on Frenchmen Street so he can hear some real music

Take the kid to penthouse. Get some titties in his face. I'm sure he'll enjoy that.

Yea this pretty definitive right here. I'd skip the Aquarium though, it's basically designed for 9 year olds. I don't know how much he'd enjoy Galatoire's without being able to drink. Bring him to some of the cool shops up and down Magazine Street and Oak Street.
