Surely y'all can't let me be the defacto OB Big Bass champ 2 years running. I even sired children in the off season to handicap my amount of fishing this year to make it fair.

Also, no high fenced bass can be submitted for entry... so if you catch one, drive over to a lake and take your picture there.

ETA: Last years winner was caught in February...

Damn, I haven't. I don't do much freshwater, but I've caught my fair share of 3's and 4's.

I've not, but I would have had a 5 fish sack pushing 20lbs last Saturday. The 2 big fish were right at 5lbs and not pictured on account of they got chunked back.

A few bigguns have been caught on Toledo. Most recently the 12.89lb sharelunker, on a lizard.

I also heard of a 13 being caught on a spinnerbait but cannot find any proof on it yet.

I follow the Toledo share a lunker program on facebook. Someone has been catching one over 10 nearly every day since March 1st.

I know one person that will 100% be able to get one over 7lbs

Where I fish, it is hit or miss like most places. My typical day is a bunch of 1-3lb bass mixed in with two 5+. Occasionally, I get a hog

That would be it my friend.

When he told me on the phone this morning, he said it was a short fish that look like it swallowed a basketball. That would be an accurate description and a hell of a spinnerbait fish.

ETA: He was set up for it...3/8oz spinnerbait on 50#braid/20#fluoro leader

He said the guy with the 12.8 followed it from bed to bed for a long time with no action, then she dropped some eggs and took the lizard.

Oxbow North of town? I know of one called Gold Point that the Sheriff and some people with the last name Volentine live on.

Or is this totally different?

ETA: That looks like a 7 lbs head, but could be an angle pic. You probably found that floating after turtles ate the body then strategically placed it like so...
