Lottery odds spreadsheet
I'm sure its common knowledge here and has been posted, but given 11 of our final 15 are against playoff teams, mostly Western conference, we could potentially slide up a few spots and cash in. Here's to hope!

Losing 15 straight isn't going to happen with AD+EG+Tyreke(with the way they're playing)

We're also getting good play out of withey+ajinca+rivers

Everyone else is tanking like mad too.

Hopefully we can buy a late 1st or flip EG for one

And it's still the lottery.

Crazier things have happened.

-It won't take bad play to lose most of the remaining games. The teams we're playing are fighting for seeding, so winning will be tough.
-I can't find the stat for it, but I'll assume that we have the toughest remaining schedule in the league. Will probably go 0-6 to finish out.
-We're currently the 10 seed which gives us 3.9% chance. Moving up only 2 spots to the 8 seed more than triples those odds to roughly 12.5%.

You also have to remember that some of those teams will be locked in to their spots at the end

Even if we go 6-10 that puts us at 33-34 wins(10th/11th spot)

It would be great to get a top 5 but it's just very slim

Yea, it really is "boom or bust". Maybe since we won AD with the 5 seed, I feel like the odds aren't that heavily stacked against us to get in top 5

They'll be in the top 3 if they keep their pick

I don't see us getting any lower than 9th given that a bunch of these teams are either completely tanking or severely injured.

We're probably better off trying to pass Denver and New York to get the 11 spot than attempting to tank and get into the top 5 to keep the pick, as we'd end up around 6-7 and give up a really good pick to Philly unless the balls bounced our way.

Technically 4th as we lost the coin flip that gave Cleveland (iirc?) the extra ping pong ball. What a disastrous coin flip win for them.

- We are playing the best basketball of late out of the bottom 10 teams.

- Anthony Davis is better than any player on any of those teams. If he keeps up his current level of play, forget it.

- It will literally take benching AD to not win 5-6 or so games out of the final 15. We will beat most of the crap teams and win 1-2 games against the playoff teams at least.

Just lost Kyrie for the season, IIRC.

They're done.
