I've never hunted antelope with a rifle and want to find a guided hunt. Does anyone have any personal experience with an outfitter?

Where do you want to hunt? Texas, New Mexico, Wyoming, ect? Want guaranteed tags or you gonna draw a tag? Combo hunt or just pronghorn?

Just so I understand, antelope does taste like complete crap, right? Don't get me wrong. I'd leave my desk this very second just to glass a herd for 6 hrs. Just don't understand why anyone would want to kill two on one hunt.

Would rather hunt just pronghorn, and take only one buck. Looking for a two day hunt, and then maybe some fishing. The deadline for wyo has passed for this year. Someplace that's scenic would be nice- Montana, NM, Colorado.

I was always told speed goat is tasty. Probably like everything else – u shoot an old bull and its tastes like crap but get a young animal that still has a little milk on its upper lip and its good stuff. That is the case for caribou – I have had buddies harvest a big dbl shovel and bring the meat back and its all you can do to make it edible in a stew. Then I went to the arctic and had a young animal and it was as good as any wild game I have had.
