Michonne is a bad bitch, but I don't think she could have kill Lizzy last night.

Carol maybe my favorite character now.

Carol went from being one of my least favorite characters to top 4 and honestly she's probably #2 behind Rick.

She's got what it takes to survive and to help others survive.

Although i love the show, I struggle to like most of the female characters. Michonne and Carol are pretty much it for me.

Funny thing is, I have never liked Rick since mid-season 2. He turned into a big pussy. He started to get on my nerves.

I know it will never happen, but I wish he would die on the show.

To me, Rick has had a burden like no one else on the show and he constantly gets Monday morning quarterbacked by people who don't carry even a relevant percentage of his responsibility.

Dude has consistently come through without the luxury of being led.

He's still the man to me.
Darryl gets a lot of love, but he is the executioner to Rick being the judge and jury.

Carol has come a long way and I really respect her character.

Michonne is a warrior.

Lori, Andrea, Maggie, Beth....all have/had major character flaws.

If you have noticed, all the characters are having a complete role reversal. All the "followers" are becoming the hardcore leaders (Maggie, Carol, Carl), and the old leaders are heading for breakdowns (Rick, Darryl, Michonne). Glenn is the only one that really hasn't changed since the first episode.

I don't think either one of the are "cold" killers, but both also do what has to be done. It obviously hurt Carol to have to kill Lizzy. But she has learned that she has to do what has to be done.

But I agree that Carol may be the only one in the whole group that could've killed Lizzy. You know Rick sure as hell wouldn't have been able to do it, and Tyreese sure as heck didn't man up and do it. The only other person in the group that might've done it if he absolutely had to is Carl, but I doubt he wouldn't even been able to do it.

IIRC, Tyrese got so he didn't like to kill walkers too much either, unless absolutely necessary when in a fight or being attacked. When he was part of the Woodbury group he didn't like the walker traps, and then again at the prison after Woodbury was abandoned and he was part of the crew who was supposed to clear the fence of walkers, he said he didn't want to do it anymore even though he liked being near Karen.

To the OP, I think Michonne hides a lot of her emotions internally, so in a way she's colder. I think she could have/would have killed Lizzy in the same situation, but the scene would have been completely different. I don't think Michonne would have been as "human" about it, talking calmly to Lizzy like Carol did on the way to do the deed but obviously torn about what she was about to have to do.

Look at the rabbits, George.

I enjoyed the reference but Lizzie should have been dropped at the scene.

I finally just caught up and finished last nights episode. All I can say is HOLY shite. I love how crazy they portrayed Lizzy to be, while making you feel bad for her at the same time.

I agree that Michonne's "coldness" is more of a defense mechanism/front. I think she is a lot more emotionally vulnerable that most people think. I think if she was as emotionally attached to Lizzy as Carol was (and like she is with Carl), I doubt she could've killed her. She probably would've broken down like she did after she left the prison.
