North American Tour
No LA date.
I'll be at the show in Atlanta, although it will be hot as balls in August at an amphitheater

Plus Lakewood is just a horrible all-around venue.

It really is. I wish more shows would start moving up to Verizon. But I assume the concert production companies have relationships with certain venues because the same acts play at the same venues over and over despite the band's audience not living in the vicinity of the venue.
Aaron's is in the ghetto and they treat the concert goers like we just stepped out the ghetto. Bad Attitude from secutiry/gate workers and a little too much frisking/pocket checking for my tastes.
The sweet old ladies at Verizon wave me in with my pockets full of booze

Just got my Lakewood tickets. Going to try and get Red Rocks tickets this afternoon. Figure that will be a great first show there

Best venue anywhere. I have been to a show there every year since 2006 (Bjork and Killers, Sigur Ros, Depeche Mode, Tool, A Perfect Circle, My Morning Jacket twice). I even had tickets to go to NIN/JA tour a few years back, but work got in the way and I had to sell them (I did go to that show in Charlotte, which was the final of the tour ). Every single show there was great (except for APC, which was terrible though by no fault of the venue).
GO GO GO! I can't possibly stress how much you will cherish it
ETA: I did get my Woodlands tickets. Not a fan of the venue too much, but it's a Saturday and I will not miss NIN

Got the Red Rocks tickets. 4th row!

Enjoy! I was 3rd row for MMJ, and it's incredible. Make sure when you are there that you take the time to walk to the very top and take in the view at night. The stage with Denver's backdrop is incredible. Also go walk through the tourist rooms (not sure what else to call it) when you are at the top. They have some cool shite in there.
I am super jealous of you right now

Saw NIN in '99 and '06. BOth shows were killer, but the '99 lineup was so seasoned (minus new drummer) that the '06 one relied a lot on playing heavier material and one song off of BROKEN (Wish) with only 2 more off of PHM (Head like A Hole and Terrible Lie). The '99 show did 3 songs off of BROKEN (Wish, Gave Up, Happiness in Slavery) and 5 off of PHM (Head Like A Hole, Piggy, Something I can Never Have, Terrible Lie, Ringfinger). Granted, there was another major album to cover and promote for the '06 gig, but I just wanted to hear the "ole stuff." I now consider THE FRAGILE to be in the classics of NIN category, along with the previous 2 major LP's and the EP, BROKEN.
I have never seen Soundgarden. I could have back in '96, but elected to go see DOWN open up for KORN instead. I was ok with that decision.
I don't know if I will travel so far just for this, but 12-18 years ago, I would have gone as far as 1,000 miles...especially since NIN waited 5 LONG years (for me at that time) to release an album and not just a song off of a David Lynch movie. Soundgarden also was done in 1997.
Definitely want a detailed report from all who are going. That Red Rocks Show -- man, what a show that will be!

Who is drumming for Soundgarden?
Matt Cameron can't be doing another tour? He have a house?

Matt Chamberlain is drumming for them. Cameron will be touring with Pearl Jam this year.

Knew he was. They are in Australia now. Just not sure when PJ tours are over and this one began?
