I joined the world of a Monday through Friday worker

It sucks but you get used to it after awhile. Used to do the same where I worked 5 days one week then two the next. That 5 day week was blown though cause it was 60 hrs.
If you want to fish one weekend you can't be too picky about weather and conditions you just have to get out and go and enjoy the fact you're able to do so. Unless you don't catch anything

I'm on 4/10s with every Monday off and still wih I was on shift work. I know for a fact I couldn't do m-f 8-4

I am salaried guy that works M-F since I got out of college ions ago. My typical work week is at least 50 hours, if not more. I am currently sitting at my desk in my office playing catch up from last week and trying to get ahead for next week.

It sucks in some regards, but it all depends on what type of work you do.

I just recently got back on to shift work. I missed the time off immensely.

It's tough. Only reason I'm still doing it is for the end game. Once this gig is up ill never work for anyone else again.

3 on 3 off 12 hr shifts here.

I tried it at 5 days a week with call 3-4 of those days. Live about 30min from work and would get called in basically every night... just felt like you were always there... I like money but ... uncle sam wasnt even spittin on the tip...raw doggin!

I work 2-1/2 days a week...
Mon 2am-1pm
Tues 3am-2pm
Thurs 3am-9am

I can change any of those days and times...work more days but less hours etc...except I always have to work a Monday for at least a few hour...works out great to accommodate kids school events or whatever.
