It's all over my Facebook. Seemingly intelligent girls selling bullshite skin care to similarly gullible friends. My girlfriend has been invited to parties thrown by 3 different sales people now. All the same shite drug stores sell for 7x more.

When the company calls itself a "network marketing platform": run.

I have a friend who sells that, but I don't think she's ever been accused of being seemingly intelligent.

It is definitely a pyramid marketing scheme. But...the product is excellent. Same people that developed proactive. It is a scam for the people selling it, but the product works.

it's a quite funny story.

Let's just say I'm the head pecker in charge and the kids are the little peckerheads.

Only way to make money at those things...start one or get in early and con everyone you know to join.

Bumping this thread because it showed up in my search-I knew the OT would have an opinion

One of my friends is a very successful pharmaceutical rep and just quit her job to go into this

1-She probably wasn't as "successful" as you think. Bitches lie
2- she was probably laid off or knew she was about to be
3- she just wanted an excuse to stay at home and pretend to be employed

All of this.

R&F is the worst. Just find someone who sells it and look at a comment, it's cult-like.

"This product will change your life. Thank you Doctors Rodan and Fields, creators of Proactive!"

Then her little friends will swarm the comments with stuff like:

"I'm so blessed to have found this opportunity! For only the cost of airfare, hotel and conference fees, I've been invited to the NATIONAL RODAN AND FIELDS CONFERENCE!!!!"

Contrary to what y'all think, some people do actually make decent money selling these things. But it requires you to be good at sales and marketing. Succeeding with these things is not the norm. I've seen way more people fizzle out, but there are success stories.

The people I know that are successful with it aren't the ones that host parties and spam Facebook all day.

If these women would just submit themselves to working out, cooking, taking care of the home and being the sexual nirvana to their husbands that God intended them to be, they'd be much happier and wouldn't be seeking affirmation through bullshite like this.

I have a friend that has done well selling it. She always tries to get me to join her team...for only 1k. No thanks. She is very social and has a lot of friends to join her. She has recruited 3 of my other friends. She sent me a sample of some face scrub. Made my face really soft, but I'm not spending $300 for the product.

Anyone who posts MLM schemes on Facebook gets an automatic block from me. My wife has said a few times how a few of her acquaintances have approached her for parties. I'm sure she sees more shite than me, but at least she knows to run far away from the schemes.

I have a friend that must be near the top of the pyramid. She puts up pictures every other day of her in a new state speaking at a conference full of lemmings.
