What could possibly be so groundbreaking that they are making such a huge deal out of regarding their offense?

The Cats spent the week focusing on themselves, most notably by implementing a mysterious offensive "tweak" and ratcheting up the physicality of their practices. With a big, strong LSU team waiting after a 68-56 win over Alabama, UK will be tested immediately.
"We'll see where we're at with that," Antigua said. "They are a physical team and we have been trying to increase a little bit more in practice how physical we play with each other and against each other, and we'll see how that translates."

After John Calipari talked at length on his weekly radio show about a hush-hush offensive "tweak" he implemented, you knew reporters were going to poke and prod players to see if they could get the scoop.
Randle wasn't about to take the bait.
"You're not getting it from me," said Randle.

The tight-lipped Randle was following his coach's lead, as Calipari once again decided to leave everyone guessing about the tweak that "changed everything" at his final press conference before UK departs for the SEC Tournament this week.
What Coach Cal did reveal was that the idea to make the change came to him on Sunday. Once implemented, he was left wondering why it took him so long.
"When you're coaching, your whole mindset is: How do you help individual players improve and how do you help your team improve?" Calipari said. "It's like, 'Oh, my gosh, how do I look as a coach? My ego is bruised! My pride!' You don't. You just: How do I continue to help the team? That's my job. These are 18- and 19-year-olds. What do I do to help them?"

Calipari is going to run out on the court and carry a player toward the basket.

Randle will bring the ball up
And take every shot.
And take every shot.

Calipari is a masterful media manipulator.
Phil Jackson-like he gets everyone in a tizzy and puts things in minds.
Hope this falls into that category, and is a pile of crap.
(I find it hard to believe a coach of his calibre would suddenly have a brainwave hit him during the play-offs that didn't all season)

When I hear about this "groundbreaking tweak" all I can think about is the alley-oop scene from Semi-Pro

After finally signing off on the accounting for his "rent a players". He is able to think about basketball and get back to basics.
Either that or his tweaking turns into twerking and driving lanes open up as players convulse with laughter.

Spot on, his stock is pretty low with the fan base. Just setting himself up, if they win the conference tournament he's a genius again.
