Three injured in afternoon shooting

This doesn't look like a place where someone could get shot......no, not at all

NEW ORLEANS - Three people have been shot in an incident Uptown near South Saratoga and Foucher Streets.

Police spokesman Garry Flot said two women were shot several times to the body, one man was shot in the foot.

The shooting occurred around 3 pm.

Police gave no indication of the condition of the victims.

Eyewitness News has a crew moving to the seen and will update the story as more information becomes available.

Hmmmm.

Glad nobody died. Btw, have you noticed how quite the gang bangers have been the last few months. I bet we are going to end up with another great trend downward for this quarter if nothing gets crazy for the 2nd half of this month.

undesireables taking out their anger bc of all the gentrification forcing them out of their leased apartments to be torn down??

Only 6 blocks from the "safe zone" but not even safe as I've heard there was a large string of burglaries from folks getting out their car on st. Charles trying to walk to their apt.

That coupled with the cars in nice parts of uptown having all their tires stolen and engine parts.
