So content on not winning next year? Or do I have to ask again. Please tell me the last time an 18 mil qb won a Super Bowl.

Because salary caps are static. Brady and Manning both made the super bowl while getting paid very well.

Do you understand why the saints should wait a year to restructure and extend Brees?

Do you understand that Brees hasn't had the opportunity to do what Brady did yet?

Do you realize that 35 year old Brees and extension shouldn't be used in the same sentence. Brady's been to 5 fricking Super Bowls. Take off the saints glasses bro.

You don't understand the point of the extension

How old was Brady when he signed his genius?

Maybe, what does that have to do with the saints not wanting to touch his contact this year and waiting until next?

Do you understand that Brady was 35 in the first season played under his extension? Do you understand that Manning made the super bowl this year while getting paid, then they added talib and ware

Do you even know what the term guaranteed money means?

I understand all of that.
Brees has a bigger cap hit than the best qb in the league.(Rodgers, and it's not close)
Peyton made the Super Bowl with the easiest schedule in the league and 2 home games against a less talented patriots team and an 8-8 chargers team.
The NFC is stacked.
We will never win the Super Bowl while he makes that much.

Again...
You're content on not winning in 2014 right?

It's not capology. The fact we forked hat much over in the first place was ridiculous. You pay for past performance in this league and it hampers our ability to win. If you're not in agreement of that then you got nothing but black and gold in your vision.

He does not deserve Brady treatment. Brady almost brought a team of nobodies, without his star receiver and without his best defensive player, to the Super Bowl.

Please explain how him restructuring to be only a 10 mil cap hit would hurt us. He needs to take less money, not move it around to juke the system so he still gets paid.

NUMEROUS threads have beat this dead horse into the ground. Put a little effort into researching yourself rather than others having to cater to your ignorance. Don't mean to be harsh but this same old shite over and over gets tiring.

You're asking him to take a pay cut, not restructure if I'm understanding you correctly. In which case he is not going to do. He earned his money by shattering passing records, winning a Super Bowl, and compared to the height of others is not a very bad deal. It is all relative to the importance of the player to the team. You keep talking about the "Brady treatment" Drew is receiving that he doesn't deserve. If Drew was gone this team would have no chance, Brady however missed a full year and a Matt Cassel led team still faired well under the Belichek system.

How are the broncos allowed to get so much talent with Manning's cap hit?

And we're going to extend Brees past retirement.

You're an idiot. You're asking me to look through threads of opinions for facts. If he took less money(not juking the system, actually less money) then it wouldn't hurt one bit to do it this year.

All while avoiding the question..
Are you content with not winning this year?

Brady DID NOT TAKE LESS MONEY you stupid shite sniffer. He had years added to his contract and they turned cap money into signing bonus dollars. This is exactly what restructuring is. When the time comes that Brees' contract needs to be restructured, guess what? They will do it, and his cap figure will be lowered a few more years and pushed to the end of the "extension." NE will have to deal with it at Brady's end and so will we. Welcome to the NFL cap manipulation.

what the hell do you think NE was paying for when they made Brady the highest paid QB a couple years ago? They paid him for his past production, and they hoped it would continue. Well thank Loomis that we did the same thing with Brees, because he has continued to be what he has been. Dude, you're a freaking idiot. I would love to throw out more intellectual insults your way, but I don't want them to be missed by you.

Because an actual restructure would hurt us greatly doing it now. It would lower his 18 million for this year, but then his astronomical numbers of 26 and 27 mill the next 2 years would be raised even higher. You keep asking about winning in 2014, of course we want to. We also want to win in 15,16,17 and possibly 18. If Drew was Mannings age it would make a lot more sense to do it now assuming he only has 1, maybe 2 years max. (See the broncos now). But he is only 35-36 not 38-39

We just added an all pro safety for $9 million a year. The broncos just signed talib and ware and made it last year.

We have a great shot of winning

And again to you I say, Brady is better than Brees and it's not close. Going to 1 Super Bowl isn't 5. He doesn't deserve that much money. Go ahead and throw out other teams that overpay their Qbs. They're stupid too!

no one's avoiding the question. you posit that we will not win this year, yet this is strictly based on your idiotic opinion derived from some strange kaleidoscopic logic you seem to throw together. your question is unanswerable, because we will be winning this year. I'd tell you to go eat a dick, but cannibalism is illegal in this part of town
