we win that season opener at Atlanta we would have been in...

the Bucs losing an offensive coordinator wouldn't have really mattered. there's no talent on their offense anyway and no QB

but BaBaDoo kept telling me about how Champ Bailey's gonna get cut, and he got cut and we sucked at corner, so I kind of think he knows his shite

but our roster got exposed in a lot of ways. there really wasn't any redeeming quality to the 2014 Saints.

Pains me to say but MI 1000 yards 9 td's.
Lewis at CB.
Lofton at +1000 tackles again.

And it ended.

Thats all I got.

He actually had a bad year for his standards, but he deserves a ton of praise for playing through injury. His injury was honestly the biggest hit we took on defense this year.

Don't 2 of those 3 QBs you have listed have multiple Rings?

This comment makes my soul warm. Thank you for this!

What about him? We didn't play any worse when he went down.

We went to absolute shite when Lewis went down

Yep, so they are clearly better than Peyton, Ryan, Brees, Room, Marino, etc

So losing Byrd for 12 games vs Lewis having a gimp leg for a few games, was more of an impact on the Saint's season as a whole? For the first few games Rob had Byrd amd Lewis playing so far back (like in row 20 in the stands). No big deal, we will just have to disagree.

He really only did that the 1st game actually. The coaching view tool on NFL Rewind is pretty cool.

Well we lost Byrd after the dallas game and won 3 of the next 4. We had zero depth at corner and had depth at S until the injuries piled up.

Byrd went down during SF, and we lost 3 in a row while getting torn apart in the secondary.

Our defense played their best ball of the year after Byrd went down. I think he'll be great this year if he gets training camp in.
