Family is headed to Vegas at the end of the month.

Anybody familiar with Vegas and have any suggestions for cheap Family Friendly activities there.

Preferably, things we can do for free.

I've been told to check out the Bellagio Fountains and the Freemont Street Experience.

Any other suggestions?

Will you have a car? Going out to the Tillman Bridge at Hoover Dam is very nice.

Why do people take kids to Vegas? There are plenty of other, much more family friendly destinations.

Kid is competing in Vegas, but we will have time to kill in between events.

Enjoy this family time with your future problem gambler children. The lure of Vegas will embed itself deep in their psyche, and they will dream of the day they can return and fully live it. Or at least that's what happened to me. Of course, my dad let me stand by the slot machine and hit the button.

Parents brought me into my first casino when I was 4 days old and nothing is wrong with me

The Highroller Ferris Wheel has opened up. Largest in the world I believe.

There's plenty wrong with me but pretty much growing up in Vegas casinos didn't cause it.

Check this link out... If the spawn ever tags along, some of these seem pretty cool.

125+ things to do in Vegas with the kiddos

ETA- I realize some things on that may be outdated, but a good start nonetheless!
