Out of conference series slate is done. No more Ivy League & Big Ten crap.

The real baseball begins now. Beede v. Nola in 5 days to start SEC play is going to be a hell of a jump in competition.

Series against Vandy could tell us a lot about this team

Kinda/maybe/sorta

The season is won by winning the SEC, not just winning your first three games. I think we take 2 of 3 losing the Sunday game

I think there is a lot of worry on Saturday and Sundays with Bouman/Poche (maybe not as much as with Poche, but the kid being young is more the worry there).

I think the offense, for the most part, is doing fine outside of a few lapses in games. We arent going to score 6-8 runs every night, and we dont need to.

Glenn has to be the biggest disappointment, he was expected to be a solid Saturday guy this year and he has gotten destroyed by the worst competition (outside of ULL).

Kind of embarrassed to say this, but I haven't even watched them play this year.

I don't know how many 2-strike counts he has fricked up by hitting a batter or giving up a base hit.

He's very Eades-like

I'm really interested to see that Friday lineup, assuming Ibarra is ok by then.

I feel your pain. Living here in ga, the only game I've seen the the grambling one on MLB. I get maybe a half dozen to 10 games on tv prior to regional play. I'm hoping we'll get more attention to baseball with the sec network.

I like Sciv at C so we can put Moore or Hale at 1B. Chinea's bat is simply what worries me. We cant have a guy that hit below .200 all season.

Broski, you and I had a good debate a couple of weeks ago about our bats. I stated that I was worried about who was going to pickup the slack now that Katz, Rymes and Jones are gone. What is your opinion now that SEC play is a week away. I believe that Stevenson needs to be hitting leadoff with McMullen second. Also Sciv needs to hit cleanup, kids been raking.

At least we don't have USC on the schedule. They could be the best team in the country. Their pitching staff is phenomenal.
