Wife and I are both Catholic, so no meat. Unfortunately, she's allergic to shellfish, so looking for somewhere with good fish. Bonefish Grill is out of the question...place is crap. Thanks for any feedback.

Poor Boys Riverside Inn, but it's going to be packed like everywhere else.
I think Don's does a good job with fried catfish, but I haven't had any other fish there. You could probably get a reservation there. I prefer the shrimp gumbo, fried claws and fried shrimp.
I've eaten at Guidry's Reef a few times, but I don't know that I've had fish there. I've seen some nice looking fish dishes. I usually get the crab au gratin and some claws, though. It always seems to be packed, too, in spite of some folks slammin' it on here. I've always had very good food and service, there.

All-you-can-eat seafood buffet at Lagneaux's, aka The King of Seafood. Can you say garlic bread hot dog buns?

Charley G's
iMoneli's and Ruffino's come to mind.
Also, if you're looking for lunch, check out the hidden gem Taco Sisters for killer smoked tuna tacos.

Cafe Des Amis in Breaux Bridge has some fantastic fish dishes.

I think he's looking for a place for tonight. Probably a place where he can score a reservation would be a good idea in Catholic Lafayette land.
