I'm not concerned with that my legs look like. I won't ever look like a bodybuilder so I'm not concerned with looking like this.

What's the point?

Only working out your upper body is like building a house on sand. Won't stand for long without a good base.

Your legs burn the most calories and play a larger role in keeping you cut.

Actually, your legs have some of the larger muscles in your body, so strengthening and exercising them can speed up your metabolism markedly. And we know metobolism is what burns fat and provides energy and continued muscle growth.

I have a leg day, but it's nothing like what my high school workouts were or what a body builder type person does. I just do like leg press, lunges, one legged squats, calf raises, etc. I refuse to get in a squat rack or do any kind of cleans now.

I also don't care about being big anymore like I once did. My workout focuses more on cardio and weights more to keep tone.

So there are benefits, minus aesthetics? Interesting. I hate doing anything involving my legs
