Makes sense and is the standard protocol before letting someone go at this point. See if you can get anything for them before taking the hit

I would be surprised if both Thomas and Sproles were let go - awfully thin at rb if that happens, especially since Ingram misses several games every season.

Moore....meh.

Both PT and Sproles? That's kind of interesting....but maybe it's just to possibly ship one or the other, and not both.

You know what though, for my part, while I love most of these guys we've moved and are considering moving, I like that we are trying to make some moves to get younger and/or better.....even at the expense of some mainstays.

he is so overrated, and doesn't produce much as a returner

If we lose sproles I would think we would consider Deanthony Thomas in the draft.

I love how once anyone is said to be being shopped or is traded that they automatically suck. And then we bring in someone via FA who's an absolute bum and he's thought of as being great. LOL. People are funny.

Would hate to lose Sproles, been calling for PT's departure, and Moore has played his way out of town.

I thought they would probably let one of the RBs walk and glad to see Moore on that list as well. It's been a great run for those guys but it's better to let them go a little early rather than a little late.

Someone please tell me that I'm not the only person that would be upset if we lost Moore solely because of his touchdown celebrations

I hope they try to package Moore and PT. Not sure what either would bring single handedly, especially Moore. Not much value to either.

That makes it sound like Thomas and Moore are gone one way or the other, and IF they can find a buyer for Sproles, they will ship him off too

Out of those I think PT still has some left in the tank. Sproles lost a step last season, maybe due to injury but he was never the same when he came back. All 3 of them have had solid careers considering what they were when they came into the league.

It is unlikely that anyone will give up anything of value for any of them. 2 of them will likely be released.

Same here. It's a must to get younger & more explosive at the skill positions as Brees is moving into the backside of career. The offense needs younger, big play types to take some of the weight off of Drew in terms of having him trying force plays at times. The cap implications that these possible moves would bring are a plus as well.
