I bought the game because my friends stopped playing madden and wanted to play this. I'm pretty bad. I really only score when shooting 3's but i'm not very consistent. Any tips on how to get better?

Unless you are a badass PG, then you will win mvp, scoring title, #1 seed in the playoffs.

Seriously though, I can't stand playing any other position other than PG. Go with that. Least amount of frustration will be had.

Just try and get your teammate grade up to a B or higher. That usually means you're playing pretty well and will get you credits to upgrade your player. Also improves your relationship with your team and fanbase.

This. Take open shots. No need to force anything, unless you have Lebron

once you do your fantasy draft, come back and post your roster and I will be able to give you some advice on how to utilize your players. One thing I will tell you is that the AI in the game loves to collapse in the paint regardless of what plays you are running on defense, which leaves a bunch of 3 point attempts. So try and get a few 3 point shooters. This way you can drive the lane and then kick it out.

Pretty much this. Pick and roll and 90% of the time it leads to a wide open 3 or an easy dunk.

Find someone with finisher to attack and have 3PT guys to kick it to. Pick and Rolls are always a good option on Offense but I like to ISO.

thanks for the help guys. I'll throw up my roster in a couple of hours after we draft.

I did some research on some rookies,

Noel, Mclemore, Burke, Bennett any others that are good?

I do only pick and roll or isos.

pick and rolls get me a wide open 3, isos are 50/50 on a shot/foul or assist underneath.

Low Post proficiency is easy baskets. Hook and fall away shot.

My 7ft athletic center (86 overall-Bobcats) is very fun to play. I'm at the point where I run down the floor, post up and score til they start double teaming me, then I kick to Ben Gordon for 3s or to a cutter for easy assists.

Just waiting for the right time to try to get traded to the Pelicans.
