To enter the different parks at WDW, now, you are required to "fingerprint" a touch screen. Could that be construed as a personal/civil rights violation? What would happen if you refused? I did it without thinking till afterwards. I would refuse to do it now. You have already paid and presented your armband, why do they need it? I guess the SS will be coming for me now.

DisneyWorld is not the government. You don't have to go to DisneyWorld.

It links you to your specific ticket so you can't cheat them by giving it away.

So people don't steal armbands and use them for entry/charge up expenses. And to cover their arse and make sure you don't share it.

It's because your passes are not transferrable. Say you buy a 5 day pass, then only go 3 days and try to sell the other 2 days (which is on the same ticket), it could register as not your fingerprint and refuse entry. There is nothing sinister about what the mouse is doing.

Just start screaming that your constitutional rights are being violated. They'll let you pass so they don't get sued.

We went to Universal Studios & Islands of Adventures in January, and we had to provide thumb prints to enter the parks each day.

Sure it's a private company. They can have whatever policy that they want.

Your fingerprints aren't some special constitutionally protected thing.
