King Neptunes off of 59, anyone know if they do crawfish? Or anything about them in general?

Is there still a demand to fill in Gulf shores for boiled crawfish? It has been an idea of mine for a while.

Well, I want to take a long weekend over there. And my mom is coming in from Virginia. I figured we could make a weekend thing out of it. Just trying to get some local stuff while still getting away from the N.O. for a couple days.

Rouses opened up last week on Hwy 59 and 180. They have them boiled and live. They will make a killing opening up in that location. I'm already in love with the store and the products they have and it hasn't been open a week. No more Win Dixie for me!

Not in Gulf Shores but there is a place called Cubs on the Florida side of Perdido Bay by my beach house that does a good job on them. Just before the Dog Track on the right coming from Lillian, AL

Tacky Jacks across Intercoastal (south side) from LuLU's - Call first to see when they are running their special. They had them Saturday.
I think Billy's Seafood (Bon Secour) has them too.

Old time fried seafood place. Shrimp, oysters, a few fish plates. Decent bowl of gumbo. Don't think they do crawfish. Fried shrimp are ok. At their level, almost all of the chains are equal. Sea and Suds is at same level. We eat there when we want beer, fried shrimp and a cup of gumbo.
Tacky Jacks and Lulu's will be a step up from them. There is a Brand new (open maybe two weeks) Acme Oyster house on the south side of the Intercoastal Canal across from LuLu's - right beside Tacky Jacks. Big building and very busy last weekend. Will probably be a good place to go at the LuLu's, Tacky Jacks level of dining.
Good food at Fisherman's Warf, Tin Top, Cobalt (maybe high price for food quality, but good). Big Fish on Intercoastal Canal at Gulf Shores Parkway is good.

Thanks War and Meridian. I will definitely look into some of those places.
